Joseph Rainer Education Foundation is a non-governmental and non-profit organization that was founded in 2007 to foster and promote Joseph Rainer’s philosophy that ‘education is the key.’
The Foundation aims to find and create quality educational opportunities in order to unlock the potential of individuals and communities.
The Foundation’s primary work is to continually support one of the educational institutions that Joseph Rainer and his wife Juliet Rainer founded in 1999 –
St. Clare’s Girls’ High School.
St Clare’s is an all girls’ school in Budaka, Uganda, which is Juliet Rainer’s home district in the country’s east.
By providing scholarships, institutional support and partnerships to this and other schools, the Foundation is working to ensure that there are sustainable educational opportunities available to all Ugandan women.
Joseph Rainer Education Foundation was registered in Uganda as an NGO on November 28, 2008. The Foundation will also register in the US and UK as a non-profit entity.
